Why not just use a easy solution like Square, Stripe, PayPal or Shopify?
What is a Payment Aggregator?
The aforementioned are 3rd party payment facilitators which aggregate payments from multiple merchants and manage them independently. It sounds like a great option until you need help in situations like having your funds get held with little to no recourse. Since the processing capabilities are limited to only using their service, other options for support and service do not exist. In contrast, we provide our clients with a genuine merchant account that can facilitate payments through various endpoints and methods. Having options are wonderful but having a real person you can call for support is even more valuable.
Are you paying your processor to take your customers?
Super Aggregators like those listed above and many more are not only making huge profits by overcharging you on every transaction. They are collecting all the data on every transaction about your customer. This includes and is not limited to: Time they shop, How much they spend, What brand they bought, What size they bought, When is the best time to market to them. Then they compile this information and sell it to companies that will market directly to your customer so you essentially are paying to have your customers lured away from you and buy elsewhere.
Merchants often say to us "I know it cost more but it's so simple and I know exactly how much I am being charged."
But do you really?
Square and Stripe are collecting your customers information
Square and Stripe are payment aggregators and make money not only by overcharging you for processing fees but more nefariously it has been discovered that they are collecting your customers information and selling it to companies that then market directly to your customers knowing what they bought, how much they spent, what time of the day they shop and more.
Don't spend more when you need every cent the most
I understand that as you start your business you have 1000 different decisions that have to be made. Deciding just go with Square or another payment aggregator might seem easier than a traditional merchant account however it could be a decision that costs you and your business 25%-100% more in processing fees than using us.
The Actual Cost of a Payment Aggregator Like PayPal, Stripe
A in-store Debit card purchase with us is ~1% + $.08, with them it's 2.7% + $.10. Online purchases with them is 2.9% + $.30, with us it is 1.15% + $.08.
Example on a $40 in-store purchase:
There fee is = $1.46 or 3.65%
Same purchase with us is = $.54 or 1.35% for a 37% savings per sale!!
That accounts to over $230.00 a month you are overpaying if your sells are $10,000.00/month
